When I was thinking of writing something about myself for this site, I started thinking and realised that I like to think, think through problems and come to a conclusion that is logical.

But I also like using my instinct and acting impulsively. These two seem to come together in my interest in technology and consciousness.

I hope I can convey some of the excitement and joy I feel when I solve a problem through the content on this site.

This may be heretical, but I find it interesting to solve a problem for its own sake rather than for any practical application.

I am currently with Confluent and hence focussed on streaming and stream processing.

My journey began with IIT Madras more than two decades ago with the initial indulgence into Mechanical engineering and then moving onto Ohio State (OSU) to focus on control systems.

From there I returned to India right away and got into supply chain management for a few years and finally began my “Data Journey” with Informatica followed by a bunch of other organizations.

I also interestingly started the practice of Heartfulness meditation as I returned to India. So both the logical and the intuitive.

I am going to put together stuff that interests me (some very detailed, some high level) around ML/AI, Big data, Physics, Meditation and consciousness.

These two things, the logical and the intuitive give me purpose and once you know the why, the what and the how follow.
